gratitude sundays (where I live)

This is the view to the south of my town in Colorado. It's my hometown. My family moved here when I was 12 years old. It's where I met my husband when we were sophomores in high school. Ten years after we graduated we found a way to move back and we couldn't be happier. Both of our parents still live here, so our children get to spend a lot of quality time with their grandparents. I am grateful to live here and to know the people who live here. We truly feel like this is where we are supposed to be. We never want to live anywhere else.

I have loved your Sunday gratitude idea and followed suit today. Thank you.

As for the picture...beautiful. I have Colorado love myself. And love of being near family on both sides. I need that cushion for the now.

I love that you feel you have found your place. I feel like that about where I live too. I just wish I had family in the same city.

Beautiful picture!

I am so jealous! Growing up there I never thought I would want to move back, but maybe someday. I am just glad to have friends and family there that we can go and visit!

Gorgeous mountain view. I feel the same way about where I live, only it was a place neither of us had any history with. I often wish for family nearby, but we have our own kind of good anyway! Love the idea of gratitude Sunday!

It's nice to be home, and around family & loved ones. That is why I hope Mark gets accepted to the U's med school. I don't want to go to DC and leave my home!

I have been really loving the time with the grandparents. I wish that we lived closer. But I have to say that I am grateful for the adventures we have had in Alaska. It will be nice to move closer to family. But I think that Anchorage may be the closest we will get. At least it will be just one plane trip away vs. 2 or 3. Love your gratitude Sundays idea. I will have to pick it up after vacation.
